New Online Catalog interface: 1 week and counting

Posted by mminth on January 27, 2009

Last week the online catalog changed its look for the first time in about 9 years. The direct URL remains, and you can still access it under Find>>Books from the library’s home page. The opening screen combines the old Keyword and Set More Limits page. You can now enter your terms, choose a specific location, item type [e.g., book], range of dates, etc. Your search terms will be highlighted in each result. Using the online catalog interface is similar to using the Ebscohost database interface. You can mark results and then email them, print, etc. Since this is a whole new system, let us know if you have ANY questions or if you run into ANY problems. Use our Live Chat, or Email a Librarian, or call the reference desk during business hours at 812.237.2580. Stay tuned for tutorials, handouts, etc.
