Spring Break in Italy

Reservations are now being taken for the annual spring break study abroad trip to Florence, Italy. This trip is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni and community persons. The trip may be taken for credit or non-credit and will leave from Terre Haute on March 6 and return March 16. The trip includes Italian culinary classes taught by master chefs, wine classes taught by master sommeliers, museum and architectural walking tours of Florence led by art and architectural faculty from the University of Florence, a tour of a leather shop in existence since the middle ages, a trip to 2 private wine estates of the Frescobaldi family, and many other interesting activities. This year the trip also includes an optional fashion component. The group will be limited to 20 participants. If interested we need to know by Nov. 1 and deposits must be paid by Nov. 15.
