ISU’s Student Government-sponsored Diversity Week includes Films in Library

Diversity Week at Indiana State University will take place Tuesday, November 2nd – Friday, November 5th. Awareness for cultural diversity, LGBTQ , religion, and disability will be supported throughout the week. Students are asked to wear specific colors on these days to help support diversity throughout the campus. Student organizations will be passing out ribbons to help create awareness as well. A list of events is included below.

Tuesday Nov. 2nd 
Wear orange for cultural diversity 
Orange ribbons passed out in front of commons 11 a.m.-1 p.m. 
T-shirt vouchers passed out in commons from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. 
Redeem voucher before 5 p.m. in SGA office located in HMSU 621
International Experience* 
Student Organizations Lounge HMSU 508 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 
Pizza and Politics* 
Library Events Room 7 p.m. – 9p.m.

Wednesday Nov. 3rd 
Wear blue for LGBTQ awareness 
Rainbow ribbons passed out in front of commons 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. 
T-shirt vouchers passed out in commons from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. 
Redeem voucher before 5 p.m. in SGA office located in HMSU 621
Wall of Hate* 
Writing 10 a.m.-6p.m. 
Destruction 6 p.m. at the Fountain

Library Events Room 3:05 p.m.- 4:35 p.m. and repeating at 8 p.m.

Friday Nov. 5th 
Wear maroon for disability awareness

T-shirt vouchers passed out in commons from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. 
Redeem voucher before 5 p.m. in SGA office located in HMSU 621
Empathy Dinner (Pi Kappa Phi Philanthropy Event)* 
Dinner and Speakers in Dede 1 at 7 p.m. 
Tickets are $15 (sold in advance or at the door by Pi Kappa Phi members and SGA) 
All proceeds go towards disability awareness

*Attendees will be put in drawing for a free blue iPod nano
