Campus “Take Back the Night” events: November 30

Posted by isulib on November 23, 2010

The “Take Back the Night” rally and march to speak out against sexual and domestic violence is coming up! On Tuesday, Nov. 30, there will be a speaker in the Library Events area at 3:30 p.m. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. there will be a resource fair and rally at Dede I, and the march will follow.

There are many ways to get involved prior to the event. You can donate to CODA’s 365 campaign, where a donation of $3.65 will help shelter a woman suffering from domestic violence. You can also bring donations of feminine products, paper towels, and other items to the General Education Department in Rhoads Hall.

If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, short-sleeved shirts are $10, long-sleeved shirts are $12 and hoodies are $20. To pre-order shirts, bring money to the General Education Department in Rhoads Hall, or contact Dr. Linda Maule at Linda.Maule@indstate.edu or call 237-3940.
