Academic Libraries of Indiana Conference, “Discovery to Delivery: Fundamentals and Frontiers”

The Academic Libraries of Indiana is proud to announce a one-day resource sharing conference,

Discovery to Delivery:  Fundamentals and Frontiers

 to be held on March 11, 2011 from 9 AM – 4 PM (registration 8:30 AM) at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Conference registration and parking are free, and the event is open to all Indiana libraries.  The morning session will focus on remote circulation and the future of resource sharing.  Other sessions will cover topics such as custom holdings, licensing, and open access.  Registration is coming soon, so please mark your calendars for this important event.

 CALL FOR PROPOSALS: Submission Deadline:  12 PM (EST) 24 January 2011

We are pleased to issue a Call for Proposals for the Discovery to Delivery: Fundamentals and Frontiers conference. If you are interested in sharing a presentation or preparing a poster for a mini-poster session please complete the proposal form at

 Presentations should be approximately 30 minutes in length.  The conference schedule will allot an additional 10 minutes at the end of each session for questions and discussion.

  • Open Access
  • Statistics
  • Copyright
  • Customer Service
  • Patron-Driven Acquisitions
  • Web 2.0 and Interlibrary Loan Service

Audience: The conference audience should include library administrators, interlibrary loan managers, coordinators, and paraprofessionals as well as technical staff who support resource sharing applications.
