Feb. 3 [tonight] Third Thursday Body, Mind and Spirit Lecture Series

Dr. Jean Kristeller will present her work on the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) program that she has been developing for over 20 years. Although developed as a treatment program, the principles of MB-EAT apply to all of us, as we attempt to negotiate the complexity of our food-abundant culture with the nutritional needs of our own bodies. The MB-EAT program applies the principles of mindfulness to helping people reconnect with their own inner signals of hunger, fullness and taste satisfaction, in way that helps them bring better balance and wisdom not only to their relationship to food but to all aspects of their lives.
