Library’s new wireless access points

Posted by isulib on June 3, 2013

The ISU Office of Information Technology (OIT) replaced all of the libraries wireless access points between May 20th and the 24th.  The new access points will provide more consistent wireless coverage at a lower energy cost. There are around 60 access points in the library.

Historical note: the Library was the first building to go wireless when the technology became available; Library Systems staff did the initial installation many years ago, around 2001.
