Today at noon: Ambassador Cynthia Perry

Friday Jan 16, from noon to 1 in the Library Events Area, Ambassador Cynthia Shepard Perry, former ambassador to Sierra Leon and Burundi, will be talking about career goals and their significance for women.

 This talk will center on developing long term professional goals and is geared toward women students, however all are welcome.  As a student at ISU, Dr. Perry, with the help of a faculty member, created a 25 year plan to become an ambassador.  A goal she achieved.

Ambassador Perry will also be the guest speaker at the African American Cultural Center’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative birthday dinner on Friday, Jan. 16 in HMSU. [Communications and Marketing]
