Passing of Retired Librarian: Frances Kepner

Passing of Retired Librarian

Frances Kepner, former Head of Cataloging and Special Collections Cataloger, passed away peacefully at her home in Pasadena, California on July 31, 2015. Ms. Kepner retired from the library in 1985, having been a librarian here since 1963.

There was a memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Terre Haute, 301 N. Seventh St. A private burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Indiana State University Foundation (Reece-Kepner Scholarship), 30 N. Fifth St., Terre Haute, IN 47809.
