Posted by isulib on February 9, 2016

The Terre Haute Tribune Star, Feb. 3, 2016 edition, ran a story about ISU’s 2016 Blue Leaf asay-2 ceremony, sponsored by the Center for Student Success, and all the recipients who were recognized on Feb. 2nd. Most of the honorees were students.

  • LEAP – Anthony Turner
  • First Sycamores – Kelly Clothier and Megan Veeneman
  • Student Support Services – Kirrsten Todd
  • 21st Century Scholars – Vanessa Shelton
  • Tutor – Priya Abhyankar
  • Tutee – Emily Scully
  • Supplemental Instructor – Lakisha Johnson
  • Most Valuable Campus Partner – Paul Asay

The sole staff member recognized for outstanding achievement at this event was CML’s own Paul Asay, from the Library’s Systems Department. Paul, our System Administrator, assisted the Center for Student Success by creating new software for tutor scheduling (see image below, names removed).  He also created software for the LEAP program, including all the tracking of who comes into the center (Library, 2nd floor), Remote Tutoring, and Supplemental Instruction tracking.
