The 2013 ILF District 5/7 Conference will be held at Cunningham Memorial Library on May 17th. ISU Digital Initiatives librarian Lucy Wang is chairing the Conference Committee and Metadata Cataloger Natalie Bulick and Electronic Resources librarian Ryan Weir are serving as Members-at-Large. ISU Reference/Instruction librarian Edith Campbell and Circulation Librarian Susan Frey will present on “Global connections at the library”; Edith will also present on “Connecting to What’s New in YA”. Special Collections Librarian Cinda May will talk about “Collecting the Present for the Future: Ensuring the Survival of Today’s History for Tomorrow’s Researchers”. Ryan Weir will present “Best Practices in Licensing, Negotiation and Budgeting”.
